Carrier Investigation

A carrier investigation is when a carrier checks the status of a lost, delayed, or stolen package by tracking it and reviewing delivery records. If a brand suspects Item Not Received (INR) fraud, requiring the customer to initiate a carrier investigation can deter fraudsters, as multiple investigations may lead the carrier to stop deliveries to that address.
