FTID fraud (False Tracking ID fraud) is a type of refund fraud where fraudsters manipulate return shipping labels to divert packages away from the retailer's warehouse, allowing them to falsely claim refunds without returning the actual merchandise. FTID fraud is highly organized and sophisticated, often carried out by networks of fraudsters who collaborate using encrypted messaging platforms like Telegram.
