Rebill

Rebilling, also known as charge or refund reversal, occurs when a merchant cancels a refund after identifying it as fraudulent. This typically happens when evidence emerges post-refund showing that the claim (e.g., non-delivery, defective product) was illegitimate. Fraudsters often use virtual credit cards or disposable payment methods to avoid being charged again, making rebilling nearly impossible for merchants.
