Refund settings are the policies and rules a business establishes for processing refunds. Refunds can be processed in two ways: manual refund processing, where refunds are issued after confirming a return, and automated refund processing, which triggers refunds based on specific tracking events. Fraudsters, particularly in FTID fraud, adjust their tactics based on a brand's refund settings.
