Return Fraud

Return fraud is the act of exploiting a retailer's return policies to illegally or unethically obtain refunds, store credit, or merchandise. Many forms of return fraud involve making it appear as though a return was completed when, in reality, the fraudster retains the merchandise, with one of the most common methods being FTID (Fake Tracking ID) fraud.
