Wardrobing

Wardrobing is a type of return fraud where a customer purchases an item, typically clothing or electronics, uses it for a short period (such as for a specific event or purpose), and then returns it for a full refund. Some retailers have begun implementing stricter return policies such as charging a restock fee or tagging clothes in a way that they can’t be worn and returned to prevent wardrobing.
